The 2nd day of the conference started with a session “Marketing and market education, government relations”. Wim Degezelle, CENTR, gave the first presentation. He spoke about the CENTR’s practical experience both in the area of awareness raising and domain market agents’ education. “CENTR is a platform, which enables various national registries to make arrangements, and one of our principal tasks is to maintain communication and assist people to find common ground,” – noted Mr. Degezelle. more

The opening session of the 4th International Conference for ccTLD registries and registrars of CIS, Central and Eastern Europe was followed by a round table “Legal issues of national domains governance” moderated by Mikhail Yakushev, Chairman of the CC’s Commission on legal issues. more

On 14 September, the 4th International Conference for ccTLD administrators and registrars of the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe opened in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. This year, the conference is attended by nearly 100 participants who represent national registries and domain names registrars from almost 30 countries. more
